Brad Harris, Ph.D. is the founding partner at TrailHead. He is also a Professor at HEC Paris (a top 10 business school worldwide), co-founder of People Leader Accelerator, and a senior advisor at Series B Consulting. Brad has co-authored two books, 3D Team Leadership: A New Approach for Complex Teams (Stanford, 2017) and Scaling for Success: People Priorities People Priorities for High Growth Organizations (Columbia, 2021), and published numerous articles in leading academic journals. His research has been cited in the Wall Street Journal, Harvard Business Review, NBC’s The Today Show, Inc.com, and Fast Company, among other outlets. Brad holds a Ph.D. from Texas A&M University and previously taught at the University of Illinois and Texas Christian University.

Patrick Downes, Ph.D. is a contributor at TrailHead and an Assistant Professor of Management and Entrepreneurship at the KU School of Business. He is an award-winning teacher in undergraduate and graduate courses on Organizational Management, Data-based Decision Making, Human Resource Analytics, and Strategic Human Resource Management. His research emphasizes employee’s social and motivational experiences at work as well as analytic methods applied to management research. Patrick holds a Ph.D. from the University of Iowa and previously taught at Rutgers University and Texas Christian University.
